- is an exciting duo - Phil Batty (fiddle, mandolin, vocals) and Sorrel Harty (piano, accordion, oboe, whistles, vocals). They are a sub-group of Streetwise & Roadworthy a collective involved in combining complementary arts in the UK. Phil & Sorrel came together in 1996 as music students at Leeds University. They have travelled and played their way around Britain, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Canada, USA and New Zealand. They cover a unique range of musical styles, from folk roots, dance rhythms and songs from around the world, combined with various musical syles and traditions from English folk to Cajun, rockabilly, skiffle and jazz. - A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE! Also featuring Tracie & Brian de Jong Tracie de Jong and her husband Brian have performed as a duo since the early nineties. They were one of KFC's first guests and helped celebrate the club's 10th anniversary last year. Tracie's unique silky voice and sophisticated phrasing is accompanied by the sensitive and elegant guitar of husband Brian. |
